Hi, all, nice to meet you. Suzie, I am also a sci-fi nerd. And yes--you are too young to have a child that old! Surfing? Wow, I'm impressed! Where have you surfed thus far?

I have one furry friend at home, a black lab named Ozzie.  I also have lots of non-furry friends at home, including: two sons, a boyfriend, and his two kids. I love to read, play ping-pong, hike and be in nature in general, and crochet. I work from home as a technical/content writer and analyst, and I'm a big fan of not going into an office. I'm not sure how I'd handle having to change out of my yoga pants at this point!

I'm here because I'm still forming my spiritual identity and trying to integrate all of the research and tidbits of Truth I've picked up over the years. I'm challenging some of my belief systems and am attempting to let go of anything that no longer serves my goal of acting/thinking/feeling/believing in an authentic and loving way.

Glad you're here. Great job challenging those belief systems! You're definitely in the right place to shift them.

I've learned that as we focus more on the authenticity of our feelings and choose the openness to new possibilities, the other/limiting stuff falls away without much fuss.

As a kid/teen, I spent a lot of time in Southern California. My extraordinary career in surfing lasted about 20 minutes and mainly required looking cute and flirting with the beach blond boys. One of those cute boys attempted to teach me- it went badly. LOL. For my birthday, I'm getting a surf trainer (it's a piece of indoor equipment for building balance and surfing-related skills). My goal is to hold my own on the North Shore.

I used to telecommute when I lived in Denver. It was great - especially on snowy days! Loved wearing my fuzzy socks to work (and no makeup).

I'm snuggled under the covers while writing this. My primary reason for seeing Suzie is related to my difficulty going to sleep. I had knee replacement surgery December 15. Today has been my best so far - less pain therefore less medication! I see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I am 70 y/o, retired and will be married 3 years in June. I was married at 21 and divorced at 30. We had two beautiful daughters. Julie who died a month before her 11th birthday after a 6-year battle with cancer, and Kati, 2 years older than Julie, is 46 y/o. She has 3 sons 6, 8 and 10. They are exhausting and more fun that words can say. Kati is a lawyer but no longer practicing. She is now in an administrative position for WU's law school. She has a wonderful husband! I love that she is healthy and happy.

IJim had been separated for 14 years so we were both accustomed to being alone. Marriage has been a whirlwind of activity. I've moved 3 times, Jim twice. We have traveled lots- India, Israel, Dubi, Jordan, Argentina, Brazil, Itally and in th US. Trips coming up this year are Tuscany and possibly Israel in September if things are settled down.

Enough, I am actually getting sleepy and it is a good feeling!!

I was single flor 39 years. Jim, my now husband, was determined to change that. We had known each other for 35 years and then dated for 4 years before we got married. He became my doctor when my lips were swelling out to my nose and I was full of hives. We both worked at Washington University and I recruited him to sit on one of the committees for which I was responsible.

Hi, Pat! Sorry, I wanted to reply to your comment earlier, but I didn't know your name and felt awkward just calling you "P." It sounds like you have an amazing family!! Which country that you've visited is your favorite? Would love to do some foreign travel myself soon!

Hi i am candice. I found my way to Suzie very divinely in july of 2014. I had just taken large steps to take back my happiness, and stepped away from things i knew were not healthy for me anymore(job). I meet suxie in the pause of that decision post 2 months. In the last 18 months she has assited me in opening up my soul in the most gentle, beautiful way. It has manifested things i did not know possible. Small miracles everywhere.


I am a Licensed massage therapist for almost 15 years now. I have always been intrested in helping others feel well. I have a background that was not atypical, exposed me to  who did not always have healthy intentions, and/ or know how to express love very well. This has made me more compassionate, and helps me and drives help others feel good.

I have two fur babies, Radar and Jameson. They are very spoiled and bring me a abundance of love and joy.

I am scifi nerd as well. I have watched all xfiles episodes twice. Yes i know that takes a long time. Three year break between, i tend to to be a winter tv watching binger. I enjoy reading, music, all types, very diverse, yummy food, happy vibed people, dancing, yoga, and when i did not live in apartment, gardening. I dabble and explore many types of healing modalities. I adore summer, and everything about it. I am born in august, I am a gentle leo, : )
